Software Development Lead Job

Software Development Lead-INF0001014
The Software Development Lead is responsible for; over-seeing the development and configuration of new applications and purchased software packages, approving enhancements and modifications, anticipating and identifying trouble spots and managing corrective actions.
The Software Development Lead will execute or guide the execution of the following activities, depending on specific assignment:
· Full lifecycle application development
· Object-oriented Design and Analysis within a diverse technical environment (Java J2EE, .NET, C++, etc.)
· Integrate software with existing database systems (Oracle, SQL, DB2, Mainframe, etc.)
· Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
· Designing, debugging and troubleshooting
· Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review
· Adherence to architecture design standards and code quality standards, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis
· Software modeling and simulation
· Front end graphical user interface design
· Software testing and quality assurance
· Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation
· Support, maintain and document software functionality
· Project Planning and Project Management
· Implement localization or globalization of software
· Designing and Integrating Systems and their components into a complete end to end business solution
· Research and technical benchmarking recommending software tools, technologies and systems approached to management
· Direct and coordinate the administrative duties of a major functional area
Qualifications
Basic Required Skills:
At least 10 years experience with application development, software engineering, and application support with progressive responsibility for project deliverables across a wide range of technologies
Strong technical skills (including software development, configuration of hardware and infrastructure) and an understanding of business processes
Demonstrated ability in a broad Hardware, Software, Platform and Systems Environment
Multiples selections of: Java, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, J2ME, PHP, Web services, SOAP, BEA WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Oracle, C++, Perl, HTML, XML, .NET, MySQL, SQL Server, , UNIX, Linux, Redhat Linux, STL, XSLT, OWL, AJAX, Sun Solaris
Basic Preferred:
· Program management skills such as the ability to identify the critical path/risks and to manage risks, schedule, cost, and scope
· Demonstrated experience applying a standard development methodology to leverage COTs and/or to develop custom software for medium and large-scale projects
· Proficiency with working in an outsourced multi-supplier environment for technology and business processes (BPOs)
Education
· Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline such as computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, etc. is required; Master's Degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
